1.
The object being painted will be prepped to provide a sound surface for the new coating. This process often includes Sanding, Grinding, Sandblasting, And chemical stripping.
2.
After the prep work is done the surface will be thoroughly cleaned with the appropriate solvent to get rid of any contaminates that may interfere with the coating.
3.
All surrounding areas will then be masked off and protected to prevent any damage or overspray.
4.
Prior to painting the surface may in some cases need to be primed to prevent rust, or provide a solid base for the paint to adhere to.
5.
The object will then be grounded with a wire connected to the machine. The paint is then atomized from a revolving disk at the head of the gun, and pulled directly to the surface like a magnet to metal.
